Welcome to Lantern Lane Primary School!

WELCOME to Lantern Lane Primary and Nursery School web site. Our school is a mixed, co-educational, Community school of children aged 3 to 11 years and is situated in the village of East Leake, between Loughborough and Nottingham. The school opened in the current building in September 2003 and offers modern , well equipped accommodation, dedicated hard working staff and a supportive parent and governor community.

The school has recently been confirmed as a ‘good school’ by OFSTED(April 2008), and the report highlighted the outstanding personal development and well being of the pupils, interesting lessons, an imaginative and challenging curriculum and a very good start for pupils in the Foundation stage.

Pupils at the school are enthusiastic and excited by their learning, and leave the school with higher than average standards.
